If you have an old PSP running version 1.50 firmware, it's easy to run homebrew and emulators; if you have version 2.00, you can downgrade to run 1.50. But what if you have a later version of firmware? Access to homebrew and emulators isn't necessarily restricted to those who bought their PSP early on, or have managed to get hold of a used one. Hackers are a crafty bunch, and almost as soon as firmware version 2.00 was released, a couple of individuals known as Fanjita and Ditlew created a program called eLoader, and have successfully adapted it for every firmware update through version 2.60.
TIP: visit www.noobz.eu to download eLoader and to check what homebrew is currently supported.
